  1. Well my favorite quote from the article was "You don't have to write anything do and it's easier for the teacher". says Joe Occhipinti a senior at New Hampshire Londonderry High School. The thing that I like about it is that the technology is good and helpful for the both the teacher and the students. What i have heard the students say is that they enjoy the use of technology in the classrooms and that it is more interesting for them. Some of the students also say that technology will help them be more organized, open the learning to different things and they can always take the work home. Some of the technology that we use in our school are very engaged like the smartbroad, computers. I feel that technology is going to take over this world.

  2. my comment to the article was it brought a interet to my knowledge as i'm not familiar with the smart board that was mentioned by a majority of the students. I see alot of texting going on, my daughter and son are hooked on it and i see it more from adults everywhere work, schools, vehicles. our work site is starting to be more on the technology side as it seems to cut back on paperwork and seems more organized for staff and it helps the students learn more and become familiar with computers in Head Start. I'm starting to enjoy the technology and learn something on a daily basis.

  3. The quote I liked was from Jordan Fernandez, the student said listening to his Ipod helps him concentrate. I think that alot of students feel the same way, not necessarily listening to classical music but whih ever music they prefer to listen to. Some of the students did say that Ipods would ecome a distraction if the teachers did let the use get out of hand and off task from what they were suppose to be on. When i worked in a Special Ed program we would use Ipods with some of the students for thier reading. We would put the books on there so they could hear the book while there were looking at the words.

  4. “Anything we do in class can be uploaded and used at home. It’s mind-blowing for me.”

I think I liked this quote for the fact that it is true. Anything that is done during class can be accessed at home and be finished there. It would be mind blowing for anyone to be able to have access to all this technology. Including elders who probably never saw this coming.

Students I believe are saying they would love to have more technology usage in their class because that is the way they see their learning careers going. Students loves the new updated lifestyles that we are having and soon enough we may not have anymore paper and pencil in the class, look at the chalk and board, whered it go?

  5. My favorite quote was from Jordan Fernandez About how listening to classical music on his ipod helped him study. It is a proven fact that music is very instrumental (forgive the pun) in helping study. My students listen to rhyming songs to help inspire them while they write poetry.

Everyone seems to have a smartboard but, no one is using it.
They also commented about how they don't have enough time to use the technology they have.

  6. I liked how the students told of how they communicate with each other through technology. I didn't hear any student talk about sending a letter or anything like that. The students live in a technology rich environment and are ecposed to technology every day.
The use of having a test taking machine where students just have to use a clicker makes it easier for the student and the teacher. Schools need to embrace the way technology is helping to make students lives easier and not worry about how much money they can save.
Students in my school love it when it is time to get out their computers, go to the smartboard, or show their work to the class through the ELMO. The students never complain when it comes to a computer to help them write a story. They have everything they need, spell check, grammar check, and they don't have to worry about a teacher not being able to read their writing.

  7. I liked the comment that Jordan Ferandez said about using his Ipod in class ans how it helps him think better and mellows him out. What i heard the students say is a lot of them said computers and their phones are the most technology they use. And umm i think there's o down side to that cause they make everything so much easier for our kids and they need to understand that its not as easy as they think it is. And i think that a lot more smart boards and projectors need to be used more often and even showing the kids how to juse them would be great.

  8. the quote i liked best was when a student says that the most important thing about technology is that it has to be easy to use. and i agree with that because if its not easy to use than you have to take into consideration on how long its gonna take for the students to get used to or get the hang of it. i heard kids say that laptops are really usefull in classrooms but they cant understand why they cant have their phones in classrooms because the technology of phones today are basically little computers themselves.
