Our Learning Goals:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Create a classroom website using any online web platform.
- Use the South Dakota Department of Education website to write a list of learning goals for a unit aligned to state standards.
- Search the internet to find resources that will add value to a unit.
- Create an assessment that authentically measures student mastery of learning goals and incorporate new technologies.
- Use technology to invest students and their parents and give students frequent, high quality feedback on their progress.
- Use online calendars, word table, or excel to create a unit plan with daily learning objectives and activities.
- Use various new technologies and resources to write lesson plans that are differentiated for student abilities, learning styles, and interests.
- Write a set of classroom rules and consequences that reflects responsible use of technology in the classroom.
